Mommy's Little Girl
Coming November 3

Casey Anthony, Caylee anthony, Mommy's Little Girl, Diane Fanning, St. Martin's Press
November 2003, St. Martin's Press
While little Caylee was missing, her mother spent a month partying at night clubs as if she didn't have a care in the world.

When her mother, Cindy Anthony, reported Caylee missing, she told 9-1-1: "Something's wrong.  I just found my daughter's car.  It smells like a dead body in that damn car."  despite some of Cindy's controversial behavior since that date, her first instinct was to tell the truth.

Casey's first response was to lie and then lie some more.  When she wasn't perpetuating falsehoods, she spoke about her dilemna in a manner that indicated she was thoroughly enjoying the attention and notoriety she achieved when she was accused of murder.

Upcoming Projects
I am now working on the case of 76-year-old Betty Neumar, the accused Black Widow.  She was arrested in June for the murder of the fourth of her five dead husbands.  There is also an investigation into the death of her oldest son.

In fiction, Lucinda Pierce is on my mind.  I finished my manuscript for the third book in the series.  The working title is MISTAKEN IDENTITY--but who knows whether or not that will be the title when it is released.  I have a contract for a fourth book.

And Molly Mullet wants me to write another book about her
adventures.  I have a story plotted out in my mind that takes place in Boerne, Texas, with a tentative title of LIGHT MY FIRE.
